John,
I think you are referring to Lith Printing. There is a wonderful book on
the subject by Tim Rudman entitled The Master Photographer's Lith
Printing Course. It is published by Amphoto Books. I've had wonderful
results following the instructions in that book. Many different papers
can be used with varying color tones from peach and pink to olive. The
process relies on infectious development. Good Luck!
