Of course I don't "KNOW" they did...but I "know" some of them had to
enjoy this beautiful and mysterious response. Don't you "know" that the
sense of wonder in humans is even more powerful than image-making?

Photography simply means "writing with light." It has nothing to do with
inverted images or the such.
