Fellow Listers,
For those of you who received my info on inkjet digital negatives, THIS
IS IMPORTANT.
In that mailing I provided the manufacturer for ROLLS of inkjet
transparency material which, I WAS TOLD, was the SAME stuff as the letter
size Pictorico.
IT ISN'T!!
I received a roll and tested it last evening. Not only is it thinner
(.004" as compared to the .007 for the letter size Pictorico) but the
gelatin coating isn't nearly as good.
I'm trying to shake this down now (playing phone tag while trying to
print the last images for a show that has to ship this evening!) and will
let the list know what I discover.
Until then, DON'T order the rolls unless you're willing to do a LOT of
testing on your own. The retail (8.5 X 11 inch size) Pictorico Overhead
Transparency film is still fine to use for the negatives.

during this wonderful Texas spring.
Best,
