DEAR LIST,
I finally received a clear answer from Agfa...Rodinal SPECIAL, a lovely,
fine grain, compensating, fast working (4 1/2 to 5 min) film developer which
I could never find in the U.S. (only Europe) is actually marketed as
Studional in the U.S. so as not to compete with Rodinal. I asked about this
on the list about 6 months ago so I thought it might be of interest to some.
Secondly, I am hoping that the dust has settled on who is actually
marketing Bergger sheet films in the U.S. There was a great palaver (as we
say in the West Indies) on the list a few months ago about one dealer
closing and no one knowing who would sell it in the future. Please let me
know...I am interested in the 200 film in 4X5, 5X7 and 8X10. If the dealer
is close to NYC better for me but anywhere in the U.S. is O.K.
I live in Barbados and would have it shipped to my NYC address for
forwarding by my roommate.
