The attached message was in response to a query I made to Sedona Digital
Print Service
in Arizona. I sent in a 20MB TIF file and received a print that looked
exactly as I had seen it on my screen. Give it a try - I mailed the zip
disk on the 14th and received it on the 26th.

Sounds great - what is the price schedule for the larger prints and what
is the address to send the images to.

    Hi Nick,

We accept files by CD, Zip, Digital Film, ... and over the internet.
I have tried to make our acceptance very open to most any
methods which our customers are comfortable with.

    TIF will work very well.

For prints up to 8.5 x 12.5 we print directly from our computer
to our printer. It prints at 360 dpi maximum. Therefore, the file
should not be formated at greater than 360 dpi at the print equal
    to or less than 8.5 x 12.5 .

For prints larger than 8.5 x 12.5 up to 11 x 17 we have to record
the image back to film and print on our Fuji enlarger. For this
TIF files of 20 - 40 MB are commonly used.

Let me know if you have additional questions.

    Regards, Brad Curtis

      Hi,

What are the file size and print size limitations?
Are you able to accept CD or ZIP disks?
What preference do you have for larger file sizes, typically TIF?

      Many thanks,

      Nick
