Actually Ray, toning can extremely alt, and is usually alt ENOUGH --
unless it's invisible like selenium for archivality. You should have heard
(or rather read), the wingding one critic threw in the NY Times about 1982
when Emmett Gowin toned -- are you ready?  are you sitting down?  ... ONE
print in his show at Light Gallery..... BROWN !!!!!
