The price of Platinum relevant to Pt/Pd printing is that of K2PtCl4. 
This price can vary daily and may track the price of commodity platinum
(as referenced by Pam), but it also depends on the manufacturer and
supplier.  It would be best to call your supplier (or Engelhard at
http://chemcats.engelhard.com/contact.htm ) and request a quote.  Last I
checked, Engelhard does not have the price of their web site (but this
may change)  Do not be surprised if the price of K2PtCl4 does not always
reflect what the platinum commodity is doing (most likely there can be a
lag in it dropping).
