If you have negative sheet films they are less likely to spontaneously combust. However if you have motion picture film stored in tightly closed canisters, the risk is greater. It is important to keep them at as low a temperature as possible with adequate ventilation. Just to be safe, store them away from your other negatives. Becki Plunkett
