Are you sure that what's wrong in the center of the image is lack of
_clearing_ and not just uneven color? If the center is drier than the
edges it will print warmer, even quite brown/yellow, and this could look
like poor clearing when it is really variable image color.

Rehumidfying zia sheets is problematic. One-step drying is more reliable
in my tests here in Ct and also out in Montana. The trick is to use a
strong but unheated air supply (a fan may not be moving enough air),
keep the paper moving constantly under the airflow, and most important,
judge the drying by feel, not by the clock. This automatically
compensates for variations in room humidity.
