Hi Tony,
It works, and can work very well, so long as the glass is spotless and there
is absolutely no dust or crud in your gelatin solution. You can use heat -
a fan, etc. - to speed things up, but you'll need to run a scalpel round the
edge of the print to break the "seal". Too many of my prints required a
wallpaper scraper for removal. That's why I gave up on the method.
P.S. "Gelatin-glazed" prints must be kept bone dry for obvious reasons.
