Garimo,

What you need is a two foot dowel rod (about 3/8) and a short plastic
tube equal to the diameter of the focus wheel on your enlarger that
the dowel rod will fit into.

Duct tape the short tube to the focus wheel. Focus the enlarger
by eyeball i.e. without the grain focusing device. Now put the
grain focusing device on the easel and slide the dowl rod into the tube and
use it to tweek the focus while looking through the grain
focussing device.

If this works for you, the plastic tube can be epoxyed to the
focus wheel for a more permenent set up. You might need two plaastic
tube at right angles.

Another way (higher tech)

Epoxy a two ft. dowel rod to a large rubber hose clamp that will
fit around the focus wheel. Focus by eyeball and then put the hose clamp
over the focus wheel and tighten.
