Its pretty simple. Once you have a print you like, place the meter under the enlarger and turn the dial until the green light comes on, and note the nuumber on the dial.  If you want to make another print of the same picture (or a similar one), set the dial to the number you noted earlier and adjust the aperature on the enlarger until the green light comes on.  If you use the same exposure time and paper type as before, you should get an identical print, even if you changed the enlargement ratio.

I emailed Ilford and they sent me the instructions for the meter at no cost. (a photocopy, but hey, it was free)
