    Two options:
1)    It could be a 150mm which would, indeed focus 60 mm (2 1/2 ") closer
to the film plane than a 210 mm or
2)    It could have its rear nodal point (from which the focal distance is
measured) in a different place than the 210.
*****Best way to check is to set up a shot with the 210 and look at the
subject on the edges of the ground glass.  Put up the new lens and see if it
gives the same angle of view (same subject edges on the ground glass) or a
wider view...if wider than it is a shorter focal length lens.
