Hi everyone,
I'd like to announce the Collodion Conference to be held in Rochester, New
York at the George Eastman House this September 14 - 16, 2001. This event
will commemorate the 150th anniversary of Frederick Scott Archer's
announcement of the wet-plate collodion process. There are numerous
activities planned for these three days, the details of which can be found
at the web site below. This will likely be the largest gathering of
practicing wet plate photographers in over a hundred years, not to mention
the exhibit of contemporary examples of wet plate photography. Check the web
site and hope to see some of you there.
