adversity to these kinds of posts.
A while back I announced the creation of a new community minded website
www.art.mcn.org for artists, a joint effort by me, some associates and our
local ISP. We had no idea about the demand and we therefore initially
limited it to artists from Northern California.
Since we have not been overwhelmed by artists with a need to have a web
presence, the site is being opened to all who have a desire. Check it out.
Contrary to what the site indicates (actually I think the limit of two
images is contained in the website repsonse), if you will provide digital
images as opposed to flat art (thereby saving some time) a limit of 4 images
would be considered reasonable.
There are no ongoing costs for having your page and your page actually can
be presented to look like a standard website. For example, my page (with a
link to my real website) is www.art.mcn.org/nick-makris
There is one consideration however, the onetime setup fee is a nominal $25.
