Can anyone help? I found an article in a very old almanac which referred to
the following:
to render prints translucent apply a solution of:
                                                 Tricresyl phosphate 50 parts

                                                 Petrol 49 parts
                                                 Acetone 1 part

to the back of a print with a broad camel brush or cotton wool and after
3 or 4 hours the print becomes most translucent!

What is 'Tricresyl phosphate' please?

Tom
