I remember someone posted a brief description about the procedure of testing for Bloom degrees.
I have found these information:
"The resistance test is done as follows: a standard probe penetrates 4 mm in a gel that has 6,66 % of concentration. The necessary mass to cause this penetration determines its rigidity and it is measured in Bloom; when the Bloom hits 200 this means that 200 g were necessary to cause the deformation of 4 mm (International Standard ISO 9665 Adhesives - Animal glues - Methods of sampling and testing)."
Has anybody further details?

Regards
Alberto
