Sorry, I didn't make it clear that I had my tongue firmly in my email cheek!

was mocking the idea that trees are all alike and we only preserve them, like
senior citizens, because they are old. It seems so self evident to me that
humans are all different that I thought it would be obvious that I was making
a joke.
