Stretch the roll right around the complete room so a kind of 'black band'
appears. It looks like a sophisticated 'stripe' around the room. I like to
think of it as a Sumi brush stroke. The images lay upon this in a 'naked'
fashion.
Zen-Q for asking.

>> My 'economical' broke-student-trick is:
>> 1. go to a frame store
>> 2. purchase the 3' wide black backing paper
>> 3. fix to gallery wall w/staples (not from a staple gun)
>> 4. use magic marker and cover staples w/black
>> 5. either use double sided masking tape or transparent
>> photo corners to hold to wall
>> 6. purchase glass sheets (through wholesale if possible as
>> glass is a200-400% markup) the size larger than your
>> images. i.e: if you make an 8x10 image on 11x14 paper buy
>> 16.20 glass
>> 7. use L-hooks to fasten to wall
