Go to your local auto parts store and buy battery acid. I used "Checker Auto
Parts". Some batteries are shipped dry and require the addition of acid
before they become functional. The acid is about 30%, of relatively high
purity and the formula can be adjusted to suit. The stuff I bought was in a
collapsible container and was pretty benign to work with. Cheap, too.
