I personally I started with paper from the Palladio company. I forgot about
this company until you asked this question. Does anyone know if they are
still making coated paper?

Paul,

My first exposure to the idea of Platinum printing was reading a description
of the process in Henny & Dudley's Handbook of Photography when a teenager.
While a student at RIT I saw many examples of Platinum at the Eastman House.
25 years later I attended a week long workshop given by Dick Arentz. Haven't
made a silver print since - well maybe proofs before printing in Platinum.

Methinks a workshop is the way to go. It's a kick start with a lot of the
pit falls addressed.

Thanks,
John Roseborough
