There might be an acid method for making non-glare glass but usually the
"non-glare" feature derives from two different approaches:

A simple micro-texturizing of the front surface breaks up reflections.
Unfortunately, it works just like letting your car's finish go to crap;
yes indeed, you'll see fewer reflections but the deepest tone/color
(D-max) is also diminished. For this reason, many discerning viewers
avoid texturized anti-glare glass.

Another type actually uses multi-coating like fine lens optics for camera
and eye glasses. It can work wonders in almost eliminating reflections in
some lighting environments. As you can imagine, this stuff ain't cheap.
