Hi Terrance,

Lenswork Magazine (www.lenswork.com) is the one you are referring to. The
prints are really nice....and REALLY low cost.

Are you planning on using a bit mapped negative or screened negative?

Hello all i have done tons of searches for the curves i would need to
apply to my file before i send it
to my prepress house to have a positive made, for silver prints.

I have found curves for platinum and inkjets but none for imagesetter
output, i know Dan Burkholder,s book is an option but where i am based
it would take forever for the book to get here, also only needing
a starting point for the curve would it would be too much money for me
at this point especially when converting $ to my currency.
Dave Focos PDF availble freely on the net gives one most of the important
info, all except the curve, his info is based on Platinum.

I have heard that one of the specialist fine art magazines uses a very good
curve for the prints available on their site.

If nobody has a curve i could use as a starting point, am i right in
assuming that the curve needs to be pretty flat in the centre between the
highlight and shadow areas, or am i just showing my ignorance of this medium
;-)

Thanks a lot in anticipation.
