Re: Sheffield Plate and Daguerreotype




Manuel,

Clad plate, if you could afford it, would have a greater thickness of silver 
so it could be reused many times. However, the electroplated silver plates I 
use have a pretty thick coating on them. I have reused some of them three 
times with no problems.
