Those of you on the list with chemistry background tell me if the back of my
hairdresser bottle of 130v peroxide concentrate is scientifically correct.
I know volume is not linear in hydrogen peroxide, so if this is not correct
please tell me what would be?
On the back of my bottle of 130 volume (35%) peroxide, it says:
to get 20v mix 13.5 oz water with 2.5 oz 130v
to get 30 v mix 12.5 oz water with 3.5 oz 130v
to get 40v mix 11 oz water with 5 oz 130 v.
Then below that it says to get 10v from 20, mix half 20 with half
water. To get 5 v mix 1/4 20 with 3/4 water, and so forth, you get the
picture.
