Jon--
Your prints reminded me of an exhibit of photographs by Mark Abrahamson
called "Montana Legacy" shown at the National Academy of Sciences in the
fall of 2001. These were large Cibachrome prints (not panoramic). The
description from the Calendar of Events follows:
"Montana Legacy is part of the artist's ongoing photographic project,
Watershed Investigations, focusing on water and the impacts of land use
upon it. Since 1990, Abrahamson has photographed rural and coastal
watersheds throughout the United States. Montana Legacy presents a
series of narrative abstractions focusing on the mining, pulp and timber
industries; cattle ranching, and agriculture."
The National Academy of Sciences has two gallery areas and a very
interesting series of art exhibits.
