There's also the fact that if the paper has been sitting on the shelf for
a while, as it often has, the d-max will be low -- giving a pale imitation
of a cyanotype, as it were...

That readymade paper is a fine kindergarten or afterschool project, but
bears little relation to making an actual photograph.
