Carl,

Because a lower percentage of solution is lost to the brush as you
increase in size I don't extrapolate up linearly. For example, for a
12X20" print I use only 8ml of sensitizer, and the 20X24 gets 14ml.
These amounts work well for me and there is not a lot of money
involved in the silver nitrate and ferric oxalate so cost here is
definitely not an issue.

I had suspected that for cost considerations Pt/Pd printers attempt
to use the minimum amount of sensitizer necessary and that this
*might* be the reason you had problems with streaking. Of course, it
could be other issues such as temperature and humidity, or just
difference in coating technique.
