Hilary Page's Guide to Watercolor Paints, Watson Guptill 1997, about $25,
available on Amazon. I belong to North Lights Book Club which is one of
those pain-in-the-popo monthly book clubs, nevertheless it deals with art
books only, so I get monthly news about painting and watercolor and such. I
bought it from them in 1997 while I was doing a watercolor independent study
with a teacher. It has each color done in two swatches, full and then a
wash. Plus each chapter of a particular hue is preceded by the hue's info
technically and then brand name stuff, plus history. Very user friendly.
