Umm... I just checked catalogues of chemical supply companies, and
they seem to sell for $20 or so for 50g. (ACS analytical and USP
grades cost more)
Did you look at Sigma-Aldrich (.com) or others?
These companies tend to charge more for purer chemicals if you have
photographic grade alternative, but if you hav eno other options this
may be the place. And it's not much more than $10 for one ounce.
