It's really kinda fun to see how things used to be done. There's the History of Photography too and photographic process (just remember the book is from 1881!) and things like making your own fireworks which I've been really tempted to do except for everyone insisting I'm going to blow myself up one of these days. On a safer pyromaniac topic and fun for color photographers as well there's also an article on how to make colored fires. For antique fun books in general, there's
