An addition (again according to Mr. James):

* You should get rid of mould (if present) by filtering the A (ferric
ammonium citrate) solution with a cheesecloth or coffee filter - it
won't do harm to the solution.
* If you see yellow lumps in the B (potassium ferricyanide) solution
throw it away and mix a new batch.
