Subject: weird gum formula

So here is the weird gum formula I promised--just for interest, not
practicality perhaps:

(1909, Aug 20, p 654,Vol LVI of the BJP): English Patent 27,686 Dec 19
1908, Josef Sury, Edmond Bastyns:

A *dry* sensitizing mix (kinda like Gum's version of Wondra Flour?):

gum Arabic, 20 pts
sugar 1 part
potassium bichromate 4 parts
pigment 20 parts (yes, 20 parts)

At time of use, mix the above with water 2x its weight. Brush on paper.

Does anyone know if or how I can access British patents--a URL like the US
patent office one?
Chris
