I don't think you FAC went bad necessaraly. I have some that is 8-10 years old and it works fine. You might check the water you are using. Is it distilled? I doubt if the precipitate will have any effect. It might be mold. Just filter the solution through a coffee filter. Why not mix up some sensitizer and try a few prints? BTW, I have found that 2 parts A to 1 part be gives prints with a greater Dmax.
