As I wrote, a 25-30% of pigment in colophony is a good starting point, but it depends on the characteristics of the pigment and partially also on the size of the particles.
The mixture must be fused (about 140°C), so you need to choose thermally stable pigments. Then the fused mass must be grinded and sieved to give a powder with a diameter in the range of about 0.2-0.05 mm (I suggest to do this filtering on a sieve with water). The finer particles tend to stain the whites.
