I am about to buy a mercury vapor lamp for palladium printing, and wanted to
know if 160 watts was sufficient to print small (i.e. 4x5 maximum) prints
with reasonable exposure times (under 10 minutes). I think the lamp would
be positioned about a foot above the paper. I see in the archives that
250-400 watts or so is recommended, but I'm not sure I need this due to the
small size of my prints. Appreciate any advice.
