And this is a common missunderstanding when buying Tintypes and Ambrotypes.
As they think they are Daguerreotypes, they charge you 4 or 5 times what
they should!. You can tell them that those aren´t daguerreotypes, and show
them why, and how to distinguish one process from the other, but they´ll
keep the price intact.
