Hi Jack,

Thanks for the comments. In many of these works I've adopted a fairly free
and painterly approach - putting the size on very thick (sometimes with a
roller) and by slopping on the gum without smoothing it out. Your comment
about the quirkiness is dead on: I embrace the serendipitous nature of gum
and approach the work with far less expectations than I have in the past,
allowing each work to move in whatever direction it wants.

I live and work in the Midwestern US. In Illinois.

Very nice prints. I like the brush texture that shows in several. Is that a
texture in the size or the gum application? The sometimes quirky way gum
layers develope and leave tone ranges promanent that one might have not
intended add great effects to many of you prints. Nice to see gum being
itself, not trying to be silver. Congradulations. Is there any link on the
site so people will know where you are and what your up to...
