I have used grafix vellum 48 to make negs on the Epson 1270. You can access
the source at <www.grafixarts.com>.
The switch from pictorico was due to persistent banding problems. On the
vellum 48, negs can be made at 1440 dpi but only with black ink. The color
inks pool.
Using the vellum negs I have made platinum and gum-over-platinum prints with
ease and the results are quite encouraging.
