I've had really good results printing both cyanotypes and Vandyke
prints from spectural density (orange) negatives made on an Epson 2200
using the techniques outlined in Dan Burkholder's book.

Has anyone used spectural density negatives for making gum prints?
If so, I would appreciate any recommendations on which curves to start
with in order to produce negatives with the proper density?

If spectral density negs won't work, does anyone have any suggestions
on making grayscale digital negs with proper density? Also, which
curves would be a good starting point?

Thanks in advance to everyone responding to my inquiry,
