I assume the lifting occurs between glass and the plain gelatin
layer. If this is the case, one possibility is that the gelatin is
swelling too much (alum hardening is ineffective). This swelling
should be reduced if the gelatin is hardened adequately, with an
aldehyde hardening agent.
Why do you ask? Are you collaborating with Kate or doing the samething
independently?
