Hello Judy,
I saw his pictures on the website. They are amazing. It's a pitty that I'm
in Europe so it's not possible for me to go to New York. But I wish I could
afford the trip because I would like to see this exhibition myself.
My favourits are: "Dunes, Africa", "Trees in mist" and "Kelp".
Thanks for the tip.
Bert from Holland

For pure joy of gum, see Ernestine Ruben's new show at John Stevenson
Gallery, 338 West 23rd St, NY, on until October 18. Best of course to see
the show itself for the tactile feel of the prints, but if you think you
can't travel say 3000 miles for this experience, the website
>>www.johnstevenson-gallery.com<< has some 20 or so on view.
Ernestine sailed to the Antartic, Africa & beyond (I'm not making this up)
photographing... The show flaunts the marvels of both gum and
"photography," because -- totally without tricks -- the prints are so
varied and so outrageously gorgeous.
