UV transmittance and "paper" negatives?

I was thinking today about the possibility of building
a gigantic pinhole camera, and using enlarging paper
as the negative, rather than film- maybe 11x14 or larger.

However, can UV light be transmitted through
"enlarging paper" negatives?
