I have a 48" ballast which is large (like a shoplight) but I think
i'll get two or four 24" ballasts and buy four 24" bl bulbs and
fashion them together.

This is good news about digital negatives as the biggest *anything* I
have to print is 4x5. Also good news that the exposure time is
shorter.
