Thanks for your response. I didn't want to blow through a lot of pictorico film trying to find the right settings.
I have used liquid emulsions on Clearprint vellum and like the translucent effect. I was hoping to experiment with the vellum using color (thus the epson) but the ink dries so slowly that the wheels smudge the print badly. If you have any recommendations to solve the ink smudging or know of another similar paper that would work, I'd be happy to hear about it.
Thanks again!

Hi Janet,
Not sure I can help you since I am using the printer with Mac OS 10, and I have never printed on Clearprint vellum with it at all. I do print on Pictorico and the key to best performance in Mac is to fool the driver into thinking it is printing on glossy photo paper. This will give you the best possible quality on Pictorico. Should not be a problem in Windows if you just select the Media type to Glossy Photo Paper and the quality to Best Photo or whatever the Windows drivers offers.
Be happy to communicate with you more on this if you have more questions.
Sandy
I recently purchased an Epson 2200 printer and would like some advice on using it with Pictorico transparency film and non-inkjet papers (in particular - Clearprint vellum) on a Winows platform. I realize this has probably been covered in the list previously, so I would welcome any direct replies off-list as to what settings to use, etc.
Thanks for your advice,
Janet Matthews
