I forgot to say one more thing. I think with very pure PVA (not
necessarily so with other colloids, or I might even say less likely,
or even say to a lesser extent), visible light component of the light
used in imagewise exposure can also change the chemical process,
potentially affecting some sensitometric characteristics.
