Re: Want more glow in Pt/Pd

A shot in the dark here, Sandy (aside from giving you my stack of BJP
xeroxes on varnishing for you to plow thru; I have yet to do so) is last
summer I tested albumen side by side with gum as a final coat. I noticed
the albumen gave a nice sheen that was smoother and finer than the gum. I
bought powdered egg whites from the grocery store and mixed with dichromate.
Then you'll have to clear in pot metabi to remove the stain. It's worth a
try, but it may darken the print ever so slightly.
