John Dugdale says in the Post-Factory cyanotype issue (#5) that he gives 3
successive washes (in plain NYC water) and the last wash gets "a slug of
pineapple juice. 'Dole should sponsor me.'" He and assistant tested "all
the acidic fruit juices at d'Agostinos (lemon, pineapple, apricot, etc.)
found pineapple best, usually "half a shot glass for a full 8x10 tray. But
either a whole can or a teaspoon seems to get the same effect. It
definitely makes them bluer." The juice tray is changed after about 5
prints.
