Subject: ULF lens wanted
My neighbor needs a large format circa 1900-1910 lens about 18 inches
("between 600 & 800 mm")... He's looking for Gertz Dagor (or one or the
other if they hadn't joined yet), or I think he said Helior, or some
classic like that to use on a 20x24 inch camera. Says he's made about 40
phone calls all over the US, so far no go.
He wondered if I had any suggestions. I said there are a bunch of Ultra
Large Format Honchos on the list; I'd ask. Maybe one of them even has one
for sale ?
