Quartsite is a small town on the road between LA and Phoenix. It is
just east of the California boarder. All winter they have a HUGE swap
meet. MANY acres. Great fun, high on the "quirky" scale. It is not
known for photo gear, more oriented to rock and gem collecting, jewelry
making, crafts. One or two weeks in the winter they have the biggest
event, a gem show that is wonderful.

The swap meet is now open "all year", but outside of winter it is a
poor tiny imitation of the Dec - March event.
